Alkalinity issue

alkalinity was toohigh how should it be lowered. I have no idea but I would ask here and get back how high is high? Definitely need to know how high it is. Water changes usually help but you don't want to change it too fast. Often times you can get it back to normal just by not adding any more

Question:Imagine if a drug company developed a drug treatment that is proven to add 100 years to your life with a cost of $1,000,000. How ethical would this be? Would it be fair that poor people could not afford it? How would you feel if you couldnt afford it? How about if you could? There seems to be a fine line where drug companies are out to make as much money as possible yet some of their advances truly do save or extend lives. My question exagerates current technology but is probably not so far off for future technology. I would also be interested in what you would do if the decision to ban or allow this type of drug was yours? What do you think would happen with such a difference between the lifespan of rich vs poor? How would it affect society? Assume that the aging process would be slowed down. Some great thoughts so far.

Answers:i would be more concerned about my retirement benifits, my medical care *insurance. Social Security Benifit? Some people would like to live another 100 years, others are happy with the life they have, and thier natural lifespan. I would not allow or ban this drug.........I will have to ponder your question and add more later. I don't know if it would be a rich vs poor issue. AS we don't have health coverage for 30% of the population in the USA. So, yes it would be an ethical issue. But isn't paying to go into outter space if you have enough money you can do whatever you want? I'm sure there would be a lottery for the poor, or a sweepstakes for those who are not millionaires. The average peson cannot afford the million dollar pill. So, I guess since the drug companies are out to make money, this would not be a good drug to market. ???? I think it would affect people with huge egos, and would there be a limit of children they (men) could bring into this world? I will ponder this question and get back to you. Do you think Oprah or Trump would purchase this pill? Would Oprah want to battle her wieght 100 extra years, could we stand more building with the name of TRUMP on them??/

Personification of the Holy Spirit(a trinity issue)

PLEASE watch my first video about the holy spirit before this one so that you will understand the definition of God's spirit(the holy one!) as well as our spirits. Also,I am not interested in trinitarians trying to convince me God's spirit isn't God's spirit but rather is his third person.Nor am I interested in ECF's using it in the same sentence with God and Christ as if that proves a trinity. It doesn'tI can only hope trinitarians will set aside their tradition, think deeply here, and keep an open mind prayerfully. What's the difference in saying you have a 3rd person who is fully True God than saying you have a third True God?The difference is an imagined one. Personification examples: **Luke 7:35-Yet wisdom is vindicated by all her children." **Romans 7:8-11:sin dies, revives, deceives and slews. **Rom 5:14,21-death reigned from Adam to Moses21just as sin ruled by bringing death, so also grace might rule by bringing justification that results in eternal life through Jesus the Messiah, our Lord. **1 John 5:6-8- water and blood bear witness too **I Cor. 12:15,16-If the foot shall say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body.... And if the ear shall say, because I am not of the body . **Psa. 96:11,12-Let the heaven rejoice, and let the earth be glad. let the field be joyful . . then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice **Isa. 55:12-the mountains and hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees shall clap their hands There are many more examples ...

Learning to manage health issues associated with aging

As you grow older, you don't have to simply live with health problems, you can learn how to manage them. A geriatric assessment program in West Michigan is helping families to do just that. For two years, Cheryl McCallum has cared for her father, Howard. Things come up, kind of on a daily basis, said Cheryl. Howard has dementia, and Alzheimer's. For his health and safety, his family relies on Dr. Phillip Green and the resources available through the geriatric assessment program. Talking about the behavior changes, the cognitive changes, the problems with activities of daily living and the caregiver burden, said Dr. Green, these can be extremely, extremely worrisome. As part of the program, patients like Howard receive complete medical and cognitive evaluations and treatment for health issues such as falls, depression, and osteoporosis. Their medications are also reviewed by a pharmacist, who often finds they're taking too many drugs, with too many side effects. We know that medications are prescribed more frequently, and that definitely the elderly are taking more medications than what they used to, said Asst. Professor of Pharmacy Cynthia Feucht. However, what makes the program perhaps most unique is the support offered to caretakers like Cheryl, many of whom are putting their own health second to that of their loved ones'. Take better care of myself, go on a diet, which I did do, start exercise more, that's all good stuff instead of yelling or screaming or whatever and ...
